When not in use, the handheld unit cable is detachable from the goggles for easy storage.

Up to 4 hours of continuous use on a single charge. The goggles automatically switch to transparent mode when VIEW-XR is not active.

Monochrome camera sensors are able to maximize the contrast and sharpness for enhanced visibility. Also, monochrome is an advantage for real-time image processing.

We agree that real-time enhanced vision performance is essential. This is something we focus on while testing on snow together with professional athletes from SwissSki and Swiss Army mountain guides that has helped shape the product. Our patented technology has been designed for low latency mixed reality comparable to the Apple Vision Pro (< 30ms), but at a price which is affordable for winter sports. This is one benefit of using monochrome camera sensors which are able to maximize the contrast and sharpness for enhanced visibility. Monochrome image processing requires 1/3rd the data compared color.

The cameras are protected behind the outer lens of the goggles. In case you get a face full of powder after taking a turn, then just wipe the outer lens the same way you do currently with normal goggles. We've designed the XR goggles to be ready for winter sports. Small droplets or snowflakes do not block the camera field of view. Safely is one our core design principles.

We provide a limited warranty for a period of one years from the original date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.

Due to the unique internal displays, XR Goggles is currently not compatible with eyeglasses.

For now, the countries planned in Kickstarter are USA, Canada, EU, UK, and Switzerland. We may consider adding further markets if there is significant interest from the waitlist.

The AR display inside the goggles provides a 65 deg field of view. They let you see clearly what's ahead without blocking peripheral vision. The display is fully transparent when VIEW-XR is not active.

We are collaborating with some professional skiers as part of the product development. We are glad to include others in this community for testing. Please send us an email at info@provuu.com. At this time, we aren't sure about the regulations for this type of wearable technologies in competition.

The dynamic range of the camera is intended for daytime outdoor conditions.

Appreciate your message and interest in the PROVUU XR Goggles. We agree there are many potential applications beyond skiing and snowboarding for the View-XR enhanced visibility technologies. Snowmobiles and snowplows are a great examples from motorsports and automotive.
The enhanced visibility is able to work also through a windshield. At this time, we are focused on the first product launching the XR Goggles by Nov 30th on Kickstarter. In the future we plan to consider additional products such as sunglasses or a visor with helmet.
