Hear what experts are saying
Freeride World Champion Reine Barkered hands on with PROVUU and shared his reaction
“I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve skied blind in flat light, just hoping my knees would guess right. This tech would’ve saved me from going full survival mode more times than I care to admit.”

“I’m old (64) and like many people my age I can’t drive at night anymore.
I have the same problem many people my age do, lots of Floaties scatter light in my eyeballs, creating glare. The other side effect of this is I can only ski on sunny days. If the sun isn’t shining on the slope, it’s one big white sheet. I can’t see the bumps or the hills or the drop offs, nothing. Your market is bigger than you know.
I would love to have AR available so I don’t have to pray for a sunny day to enjoy the slopes.”
“Not only is this very cool tech, but I believe it may help a lot of people like me. I used to do slalom competition as a teen but unfortunately I've developed keratocoma, I'm assuming you're maybe familiar with this but in case you're not, it's a bad genetic disease that distorts the way light is refracted in the eyes. This has stopped me from skiing the way I did before and seeing your product has given me hope again.”
“I suffered a subdural hematoma which has compromised my ability to pick up definition of the snow surface. I have been a fulltime professional coach , teacher and guide in the ski industry for 35 years.
These optics could help me return to the level I expect of myself.”
“Personally as a late bloomer ski bum (65 years of age) logging 100+ days each of the last 5 seasons it has become clear (pun intended) to me that the limiting factor to many ski days is lack of vision / depth perception
Many days of good snow with poor light make for frustration at the lost opportunity
Visual fatigue and vertigo are also nasty
I now spend more time on goggle / sunglass selection than any another equipment choice and it has become a critical item for skiing enjoyment and performance
I believe that the older ski demographic is a promising target market suffering from failing vision”
